Q. What hours are you available to recieve calls?
A. Someone is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to take your call. Please feel free to contact us anytime day or night.
Q. Where are you located?
A. Our treatment locations are confidential for the protection and privacy of our residents. Please call to find the nearest and most appropriate program for your child.
Q. How long does your program last and when is enrollment?
A. At Elk River, we customize our length of stay to the needs of your child. There are no fixed enrollment or exit dates.
Q. How will my child keep up in school while receiving treatment?
A. At Elk River we believe no child should fall behind in school while in treatment. We provide an onsite, fully accredited academic program for grades 6-12. Our AdvancED accredited program is facilitated by highly qualified and state certified teachers in the classroom.
Q. How much does your program cost?
A. Program fees include individual, group and family therapy, Equine Assisted Learning and other experiential education, AdvancED accredited academic program, clothing, gear, meals, boarding and standard medical care. Program costs depend on the number of days, weeks or months that your child is in treatment. We do not require long term contracts. Please call us and we can review treatment costs with you.

A. Yes, we do accept insurance. Please contact us to see if your insurance will cover treatment at Elk River.
