The Elk River Treatment Program (ERTP) provides therapeutic treatment and education in a residential setting. Our typical patient is between the ages of 12 and 18 and have been challenged with behavior, learning or mental health difficulties at home and/or school. These problems are sometimes intensified by alcohol and/or substance abuse and fall under a dual diagnosis. ERTP’s caring, professional staff assists young people in identifying and correcting self-defeating behaviors and destructive decision-making. It's an extremely rewarding career that presents life-changing transformations in a relatively short period of time.

Chef/Kitchen Manager

Our residential treatment program is seeking a highly motivated, energetic and qualified chef/kitchen manager. This full-time position will assist in the supervision of kitchen personnel and will be responsible for maintaining consistent quality standards and menu plans for adolescents and teens ages 12 - 18. Requirements include minimum two-year Culinary Certificate or comparable experience.


We are seeking Highly Qualified English and Math teachers for our residential campus in North Alabama. Learning plans are individualized for our students and they complete work at an independent workstation with close supervision of teachers and direct care staff. At times students may work at their own pace, but receive one-on-one instruction as needed. Elk River Treatment Program provides for its resident/students in grades 6 - 12 an AdvancED/SACS accredited curriculum.

Direct Care Staff

We are seeking highly motivated, energetic and qualified staff for our Elk River Treatment Program for adolescents. Treatment Team focus is on cognitive behavioral therapy within a client focused family therapy system. Positions needed: Direct Care staff. Requirements: Bachelors level degree in Social Sciences, Criminal Justice, or related field. Training/ benefits/Proven history of excellent staff retention.

Night Shift Staff

We are seeking highly motivated, energetic and qualified Night Shift Staff for our residential facility. Shifts are from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Requirements: High School Diploma. Training provided/Proven history of excellent staff retention.
